PARTICIPATION IN DIRECTOR-STUDENT MEETINGS

At Balıkesir University Vocational School (Vocational School), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun met with students at the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year and provided information about the academic structure of departments and programs, course content, applied fields, internship opportunities, and career opportunities. She also introduced the university's social, cultural, and athletic opportunities, as well as student support services. Students' questions were answered, and their opinions and suggestions were heard.
The presentations made during the event not only addressed academic processes but also highlighted current global issues. The inhumane events taking place in Palestine were particularly emphasized, emphasizing the universal values of peace, human rights, and solidarity. Students were reminded of the importance of acting with a sense of social responsibility, not only in their professional fields, but also as conscientious individuals.
